ABOUT THE SOAP
Just like our gentle baby soap, the chamomile face bar is 65% olive oil.  Essential oil of palmarosa for skin repair.  Just a hint of patchouli (not enough to smell) because it is so good for the skin. Includes powdered chamomile flowers and an infusion of chamomile tea.

THE SOAP STORY
We have always used all of our Green Pergola soaps on the face.  But we know that some people want a bar of soap that is specifically for the face.  Up the olive oil, add palmarosa and chamomile and our face bar appeared from the depths.  Enjoy!

USING OLIVE OIL ON THE SKIN

History tells us that the ancient Greeks used to bathe in olive oil, and people all over the world use olive oil for skin care directly to moisturize their skin and for stretch marks. Olives are high in anti-oxidants, such as polyphenols; the phenol have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial elements.

Using olive oil skin care can be a daily routine. Did you know that olive oil can be used as a make-up remover? Besides olive oil for skin care, it's healthy fats also benefit hair, nails and lips. It contains a high percentage of monounsaturated fat, which is healthier than polyunsaturated fats found in other oils.
